Hi, I’m Erin—an Indy-based Brand Strategist and Culture Marketing Consultant specializing in women’s sports and entertainment. I work with purpose-led companies and category leaders to fuel growth, shape culture and unlock new ways to experience brands.

I’ve got over a decade of experience, a “try anything” attitude and a knack for spotting patterns where others see chaos. Before starting SCARVO, I was a Group Strategy Director at Giant Spoon, which was named No. 23 on Fast Company’s 2023 World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies list (No. 1 in Advertising). There I solved real business problems for brands while leading and developing a department of 20 strategists across NYC and LA, helping them harness their curiosity and find human stories in data.

With brand strategy as a foundation, my work spans industries and formats: I’ve amplified the Caitlin Clark effect on women’s basketball with State Farm, released 750 drones above Boston with Mass Mutual, launched NBCU’s first comedy brand campaign since Must-See TV, convinced skincare girlies to commit to moisturizer monogamy, and so much more.

My sweet spot is in Entertainment + Women’s Sports, but I’ve got experience across categories. Have a project you want to talk about? I’m available for contract assignments, quick-turn projects, miscellaneous missions. Say hello.

My Superpowers

  • I can help you identify your brand purpose, help effectively articulate it and identify the optimal market positioning that'll give you a competitive edge.

  • I can ingest multiple inputs (i.e., brand guidelines, business goals, audience insights, etc.) and output a concise creative brief that that connects the dots between data, culture and human behavior—and is catered to your creative team.

  • I can synthesize complex competitive landscapes and emerging cultural trends into actionable deep dives that can be used by teams across your organization.

  • I geek out on audience research, and can get into the mind of any target audience. I'll help you zero in on who your consumers are, their culture, their quirks—and the market dynamics that will help your teams make better decisions.

  • I can drive collaboration in complex organizations, from moderating cross-departmental brainstorms to conducting stakeholder interviews to facilitating brand audits and more.

  • I can design a content strategy that navigates the ever-changing media landscape and delivers your most important messages in a way that is most compelling to your target consumer.
